Hi everyone!

Right now, I am in South Carolina, where most of my family lives. I had a long day of being on an airplane on Saturday, but I got to sleep in my carseat for some of it. By the end of the day I was very tired and grumpy, and when I saw my grandparents and aunt and uncle, I was scared. Too many new people on one day. But the next day, I was getting more used to everyone, and so when Reverend Tom held me up at church and put water on my head, I wasn’t scared at all. He even carried me far away from Momma and Daddy. I really like the music and the singing, and everyone holding me, but I was ready for a nap by the time we got home. Then momma had to wake me up so we could go eat dinner at a restaurant called Red Bone Alley. It was good, and I liked the tomatoes that were fried and pimento cheese and Momma’s chicken salad. She even found kiwi, and broccoli and strawberries for me. I got to sit near my cousin Collin, and he was fun to look at and touch!

I visited with my great aunt Denise and great uncle David, and my second cousins, Lindsey, Carly, and Reed in the afternoon.

I have had a good time so far. I have seen my great grandparents in Summerville, so I had to go on another long car ride, but they were very nice and gave me lots of hugs and kisses. I think I made my Great Grandmomma feel better since she was still hurting from her sickness.

And I got to play with my uncle Matthew, and he’s real silly. But lots of fun like Daddy. He had to leave on Monday though, so I was sad to see him go!

And then yesterday night, I got to go hang out with my Mamaw and Papaw, and my cousin Collin, and his mommy and daddy, Kim and Curt. And then another friend came over, Ms Sheila and her husband Woody, and their baby Austin. Momma says Austin is not a baby, but a big boy. Although I was kinda scared with all the new people and smells and sounds, I still had fun crawling around everywhere, and…here’s the best part. Mamaw and Papaw made SPAGHETTI! It’s one of my favorite foods!!! It was SO GOOD! I had 3 helpings, plus my plum. Momma said I would explode if I had any more of it, so she said no more, and then used these yucky wipes to clean me up. I had an orange face and nose and hands. Though I didn’t have too much on the floor. I didn’t want to waste any of my spaghetti :)

Things are definitely different here than at home. I don’t have my crib, so my pack n play is smaller, and I can’t really crawl in it. And I don’t have any steps to crawl up. And the kitties here don’t like me as much as Clyde does, so I can’t touch them like I touch Clyde. There are more people so it’s louder. And Grandmomma yelled at Granddaddy because he walked down the hall while he was talking to Aunt Donna and woke me up. She was not happy. But I went back to sleep after Daddy came in and lay me back down.

So far, it’s been loads of fun here. I am sleeping good, and eating lots of fun things. Daddy and Momma went and found me more plums since I was out, and I tried pluots since the plums weren’t good. And I have met lots of new people. I love my family, and wish I lived closer so I could see them all the time. But this will have to do!!

I will update about the rest of my trip later, and when Momma gets home, she said she will update all the pictures.

Hi friends and family!

Hope you are all doing good. I haven’t felt really good in a few days. Momma said I got a cold from my friend at school. So I didn’t go to school on Wednesday or Thursday last week. Daddy stayed home with me, because he thought I needed to sleep, and I don’t sleep real good at school. Momma says I sleep like crap. But I can’t say crap. Oops.

So, Momma and Daddy say I am going to ride a plane again next weekend. I am excited about seeing my grandparents and all my other family. Momma says my great grandmommy has shingles and hurts right now, but still will get to see me next weekend. I will give her a big hug when I see her. Hurting is not fun. I fell on my changing table today and hurt myself. I was kinda sad until Daddy picked me up and kissed me.

So, not much else is really happening. I am totally getting this standing up gig. It’s cool. I can pull up on about anything…And can hold on with just one hand! And I really like to play and eat Clyde’s food, but Momma and Daddy make lots of noise when I do that. So now, I can’t really get to it, cause Daddy put the kitchen chairs in front of Clyde’s bowl. Oh well, I like the wine racks and wine bottles too, so I can always go play with that. I have one bottle that I love to pull out :)

I also really like to play on the piano. I can stand up next to the bench and play the keys. That’s fun….It’s even more fun when Daddy or Momma plays with me!

We are going to have dinner with some friends of Momma and Daddy’s this week. They live near us, in the next building over. They have a little girl who is 2 weeks older than me named Claire. She’s cute. It will be fun to eat with her!

Oh, I think I know what to say when I see Momma… “mamamama” I say it over and over while I crawl to her. She always smiles at me!

Green beans, printers, and shoes

So, I have found a food I do not like. Green beans. Momma keeps giving them to me, but no way. Give me my peas and carrots and squash! Chicken noodle soup is another favorite. Momma is going to make me some homemade soup this weekend, and store it for me, so I always have it for school if I want it.

Crawling is very exciting, and I have really mastered it over the past week. Daddy has had to put up gates and those are very fun to find and try to stand up on. But, my favorite thing to pull up on is the printer on the floor in Daddy's computer room. I know that Momma and Daddy put toys in there for me, but the printer and cords and electronic stuff are SO much more fun!

Daddy had to lower my crib, but that's ok. I can still see my stars on my the ceiling and love on my blankie, and then I go right to sleep. Momma said she never thought that would ever happen.

So, I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to lots of my family! My Grandmommy and Auntie Hannah's birthdays are today! Hannah turns 21 (which I am told is very important). Momma says I can't say how old Grandmommy is. It is rude to talk about big people's ages.

And my other aunt, Aunt Kim, has a birthday on Friday. Happy Birthday to her too!!!

This weekend is going to fun...It's Momma's birthday on Thursday, and I want to do something special for her. And then we are going to the Harvest Wine Festival on Sunday and Monday. And maybe a party at a friend of Daddy's on Sunday. It will be a busy weekend. But I will get to see lots of people!

Oh, and Daddy says he will make a video...But he still hasn't. So I think people have to email him and tell him they really want it :)

PS--Shoes are the best toy ever! I love to chew on them, even if they are on people's feet. Though I don't have any shoes of my own yet. So, I have to just find Momma and Daddy's.
