All kinds of days...

So I just had my first Halloween, and it was cool, I guess. I was a monkey, because momma said I climb everything. Two days before Halloween, Momma and Daddy took me downtown in my stroller, and we trick or treated at the stores down there. But we only went to a few because there were so many people, and Daddy said he would just buy candy if he wanted it. I couldn't have any so it didn't matter to me!

And then, after that, we went and had dinner with some of our friends named Tracy and Steve, and their baby Claire, and some new friends Kate and George, adn their baby Alex. It was alot of fun. Claire and Alex like watermelon, like me, and like to laugh and squeal, and bang spoons on the table.

So, then there was another new day for me, called Sunday at the Park. Momma and Daddy took me to the park on Sunday and we had a picnic, which Momma says is just eating outside. and then I got to swing, which I really loved!

Daddy took me down the slide but that was just ok.

So, then the last big new day...Something called Election Day. Momma was very nervous and excited all day. I got to wear my Obama shirt, and Ms Robin at school put stickers all over me.

So, that's really all the news from me. I did learn how to crawl under the and get things, and then come out. Momma calls me a crazy wild little boy, but I have so many things to discover...how else will do that unless I explore!?!

Love to everyone and Big Charlie kisses from me!

My first birthday party...that I was invited to!

Oh, so I went to a birthday party a few weekends ago for a little friend named Diego, who turned 1 year old. He was sick, so I didn't get to see him much. But it was a costume party, and Momma thought it would be too hot to wear my monkey costume, so I went as a greaser. Momma slicked my hair back wiht lotion, but I got to wear my jeans and a tshirt so that was ok.

There were all kinds of kids around, like at school. And there were these things called pinatas that looked like a monkey and a giraffe. The kids hit at them with sticks, and then all this stuff fell out of them.

I really couldn't play the games, but I had fun watching the kids, and crawling around. I got a few bites of the cake, but then it was all gone, because Momma said I could only have a little bit because it was a special occasion. Anyway, it was fun when everyone started singing a special song. I smiled and laughed. But then I was ready to take a nap, so we went home!

Here are some pictures!

New things....

Hi friends and family!

Hope you are all doing well. It’s a few days before Halloween! Momma keeps saying that, but I don’t really know what it means. Momma says I am going to be a monkey, cause I’m her monkey, cause I climb everything. I love climbing. I can go all the way to the top of the stairs, though I usually don’t make it that far before Momma or Daddy find me and make me come down. I can come down by myself too!

Tomorrow I get to go trick or treating downtown at all the places where we walk by and we normally eat. But this time, I get something called candy. Momma says we will give it all away cause I can’t have candy. She will make me some sweet bread instead as a treat :)

This past weekend, I went to a pumpkin patch and had a good time sitting with the pumpkins and standing up on them. The ground felt weird…It was not carpet. I didn’t know what all that brown and green stuff was. Daddy said it was dirt and grass.

So I tried something new at school last week called formula. It was ok, but I like Momma’s milk better. Momma was sad, but she said she could pump enough milk for me. So I get some of Momma’s milk in a cup, and in the afternoon, I get this formula stuff. And I don’t get a bottle anymore. Only a cup. That’s ok, but I still expect juice when I take a sip, not milk, so I get confused.

I still love playing the piano, and banging things together. Momma and Daddy got new phones, and I get their old ones. I really like the phones. I bang them on everything. I also am talking lots. I have so many things to say. Momma and Daddy don’t understand me, but I keep trying.

Today I had sweet potatoes and edamame for lunch and they were SO yummy. And I did an art project and finger painted…That felt funny on my fingers, but I had fun.

Ok, gotta go. Love everybody!

Hi everyone!

Right now, I am in South Carolina, where most of my family lives. I had a long day of being on an airplane on Saturday, but I got to sleep in my carseat for some of it. By the end of the day I was very tired and grumpy, and when I saw my grandparents and aunt and uncle, I was scared. Too many new people on one day. But the next day, I was getting more used to everyone, and so when Reverend Tom held me up at church and put water on my head, I wasn’t scared at all. He even carried me far away from Momma and Daddy. I really like the music and the singing, and everyone holding me, but I was ready for a nap by the time we got home. Then momma had to wake me up so we could go eat dinner at a restaurant called Red Bone Alley. It was good, and I liked the tomatoes that were fried and pimento cheese and Momma’s chicken salad. She even found kiwi, and broccoli and strawberries for me. I got to sit near my cousin Collin, and he was fun to look at and touch!

I visited with my great aunt Denise and great uncle David, and my second cousins, Lindsey, Carly, and Reed in the afternoon.

I have had a good time so far. I have seen my great grandparents in Summerville, so I had to go on another long car ride, but they were very nice and gave me lots of hugs and kisses. I think I made my Great Grandmomma feel better since she was still hurting from her sickness.

And I got to play with my uncle Matthew, and he’s real silly. But lots of fun like Daddy. He had to leave on Monday though, so I was sad to see him go!

And then yesterday night, I got to go hang out with my Mamaw and Papaw, and my cousin Collin, and his mommy and daddy, Kim and Curt. And then another friend came over, Ms Sheila and her husband Woody, and their baby Austin. Momma says Austin is not a baby, but a big boy. Although I was kinda scared with all the new people and smells and sounds, I still had fun crawling around everywhere, and…here’s the best part. Mamaw and Papaw made SPAGHETTI! It’s one of my favorite foods!!! It was SO GOOD! I had 3 helpings, plus my plum. Momma said I would explode if I had any more of it, so she said no more, and then used these yucky wipes to clean me up. I had an orange face and nose and hands. Though I didn’t have too much on the floor. I didn’t want to waste any of my spaghetti :)

Things are definitely different here than at home. I don’t have my crib, so my pack n play is smaller, and I can’t really crawl in it. And I don’t have any steps to crawl up. And the kitties here don’t like me as much as Clyde does, so I can’t touch them like I touch Clyde. There are more people so it’s louder. And Grandmomma yelled at Granddaddy because he walked down the hall while he was talking to Aunt Donna and woke me up. She was not happy. But I went back to sleep after Daddy came in and lay me back down.

So far, it’s been loads of fun here. I am sleeping good, and eating lots of fun things. Daddy and Momma went and found me more plums since I was out, and I tried pluots since the plums weren’t good. And I have met lots of new people. I love my family, and wish I lived closer so I could see them all the time. But this will have to do!!

I will update about the rest of my trip later, and when Momma gets home, she said she will update all the pictures.

Love you all to pieces!
