Green beans, printers, and shoes

So, I have found a food I do not like. Green beans. Momma keeps giving them to me, but no way. Give me my peas and carrots and squash! Chicken noodle soup is another favorite. Momma is going to make me some homemade soup this weekend, and store it for me, so I always have it for school if I want it.

Crawling is very exciting, and I have really mastered it over the past week. Daddy has had to put up gates and those are very fun to find and try to stand up on. But, my favorite thing to pull up on is the printer on the floor in Daddy's computer room. I know that Momma and Daddy put toys in there for me, but the printer and cords and electronic stuff are SO much more fun!

Daddy had to lower my crib, but that's ok. I can still see my stars on my the ceiling and love on my blankie, and then I go right to sleep. Momma said she never thought that would ever happen.

So, I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to lots of my family! My Grandmommy and Auntie Hannah's birthdays are today! Hannah turns 21 (which I am told is very important). Momma says I can't say how old Grandmommy is. It is rude to talk about big people's ages.

And my other aunt, Aunt Kim, has a birthday on Friday. Happy Birthday to her too!!!

This weekend is going to fun...It's Momma's birthday on Thursday, and I want to do something special for her. And then we are going to the Harvest Wine Festival on Sunday and Monday. And maybe a party at a friend of Daddy's on Sunday. It will be a busy weekend. But I will get to see lots of people!

Oh, and Daddy says he will make a video...But he still hasn't. So I think people have to email him and tell him they really want it :)

PS--Shoes are the best toy ever! I love to chew on them, even if they are on people's feet. Though I don't have any shoes of my own yet. So, I have to just find Momma and Daddy's.

Not much new is going on with me. I am now sleeping through the night, and not eating anymore in the middle of the night. Momma stopped coming in when I cried on the night before I turned 7 months old. I was just so used to her coming in to pick me up, so I cried real hard that night, but since then, I have been sleeping pretty good.

I have another tooth coming in, so it hurts sometimes, but not too bad. I am pretty close to crawling, which is really neat. Then I will be able to get to my cat brother Clyde, with NO problem. Right now, I just swat at and grab at him when he walks by.

Last weekend, we went to see some friends at their house. Momma said on the floor with me while we ate, and I got to try some apple sausage and guacamole. The guacamole was GOOD! Momma says she is going to try to get me some avocados so I can try them. I ate spaghetti the other night and it was alot of fun throwing handfuls of spaghetti off the table. Momma is sighing, so I don't think she had nearly as much fun.

We still haven't moved, which is fine by me, since I would rather stay in my room as long as I can. Momma cuts on my ladybug at night and it shines stars all over the ceiling. I like to watch that while I fall asleep. She says my friend Rubygail gave it to me. I remember that because I know that Ruby likes ladybugs.

I get real excited when I see Momma and Daddy now, and jump up and down where I am sitting, and wave at them when I see them...It's fun to wave!

Momma says we have two trips coming up. One is we are going to see my grandparents, ALL of them, back in South Carolina. I will get baptized in the church where Momma and Daddy got married. And then a month and half later, I am going to Virginia to visit my great aunt Donna and great uncle John. I am excited about that. Lots of plane rides!!!

Oh, and I forgot to let everyone know that I went to my first baseball game and rode my first train last Saturday. I saw these people that threw balls and swung bats. I just like to chew on my bat and ball. But it was very loud and I cried for awhile…and Grandmomma held me close and I fell asleep for a little bit. But then I woke up and got to eat some french fries and some hot dog bun. I was too fussy to get to eat my plums. So Grandmomma strolled me around the baseball park over and over again, until it was time for Momma to feed me. Then we went home. It was very windy and cold in Sisco where we saw the game. Here are some pictures from my trip..And me eating a tortilla at a restaurant with my family. I liked the chimichanga and some meats that weren’t spicy.

It's just Momma, Daddy, and me!

Hi everyone!

Today my Auntie Hannah left to go back to her home. Momma said she was sad to leave me, but she needed to go back to her job at the hospital. So now it's just me, and Daddy, and Momma.

I had a good week at daycare…I had not seen Miss Kim and Miss Robin in almost 2 weeks. They said I had gotten a lot more hair, and they were surprised that I could sit up by myself and almost crawl. And I started eating my food at school too. My new favorite foods are pear slices, salmon, and wontons. Oh, and a yogurt called YoBaby. Momma says I like that one so much cause it has so much sugar in it. So I only get it every few days, and only about ½ of it. I would like more, but Momma’s the boss!

I am playing my piano now, and can use my sippy cup and I can actually pick it up and get juice out. Sometimes it gets heavy though, and I have to take a break and just bang it on the table.

I got my first tooth last week on Tuesday (Momma says it was the 15^th of July). It is barely in, but at least it doesn’t hurt anymore. I play with it with my tongue though cause it feels funny in my mouth.

Oh, and I saw my favorite doctor, Dr. Flanzbaum, and he said I was perfect in every way, except for my sleep. Oh well, I can’t help it if I want to be up with Momma and Daddy. Momma says it makes her sad that I won’t sleep and cry so much at night. Maybe I will try harder so she isn’t sad. But Dr. Flanzbaum said since I can find and pick up and put in my own paci, Momma should put lots of them in my bed. So I have so many in my crib now. Sometimes I roll over onto them though, and that kinda hurts.

I got some more shots at the doctor’s office but I had a lot of fun this time. I was sitting up like big boy, so it was so much more fun than laying down all the time. Oh, and I can take a bath in the big tub without my baby tub. It’s been packed up with my bouncy seat. I was sad that bouncy seat got put away, but I didn’t really like laying in it anymore.

I think that’s it. Momma and Daddy have told me we are moving, but the new place will look almost just like our home. Except I won’t have my pretty stars on the wall, and all the bugs Momma painted. She says she is very sad about that. But she says she will do something else special for my new room.

Oh, and my girlfriend Ruby sent me a ½ birthday present. :) I got a new toy and new clothes. I can’t wait to taste both of them. It was so nice to get a present.
