Hello everybody,
Mommy and daddy took me up to Lake Tahoe last weekend. It was really neat. Some of mommy and daddy's friends came up from Los Angeles, San Diego, and Sacramento. We drove up this big mountain, it took a long time, so I just went to sleep for most of the trip. I woke up at one point, and daddy was driving around corners in his truck. That put me right to sleep.
We stayed in this cabin at Lake Tahoe. It had a large window on the top floor that I could look out. Mommy made daddy pack my bouncy seat and mommy put me in it on the window seat. It was neat. The outside was covered in white stuff. Mommy said it was snow. She said she'd never seen so much snow, so I had a first experience at the same time as mommy. Daddy left us during the day to go snowboarding. When he came back he was tired and he was wearing a lot of clothes.
Mommy bundled me up in some new snowpants and a jacket and took me outside in the snow while it was falling from the sky. It was cold! I thought it was neat for a bit, but then it felt wierd having the snow hit my face and mommy took me back in. Mommy and daddy's friends stayed outside and played in the snow on sleds and made a snowman.
On the day we left, it snowed a lot. Daddy's car was covered in snow, and he had to dig it out and let it warm up for a while. He installed tire chains on the car because the snow made the roads so slippery. I didn't feel the car slip, but daddy said it would be bad. I liked the tire chains, because when daddy was driving it made the car vibrate, almost like my bouncy seat! It kind of put me to sleep so I missed a lot of the snowy drive.
Mommy has posted some of the pictures that she took while we were in the snowy mountain.
Well, I need to go get ready. Mommy and daddy are taking me to lunch with one of their other friends. They're going to eat pizza. I can't wait to eat pizza.
